A stroller is a big purchase and you want it to be comfortable. Which strollers are best if you’re short? Here are our favorites.

What are the benefits of an Amazon Prime membership?

You can use Amazon Prime for much more than just buying your baby gear online! While the mega marketplace makes it easy for parents to get almost everything they need for the kiddos with a tap and a swipe, Prime members enjoy benefits that go well beyond shopping.

Anyone can search Amazon listings and buy products. However, only Prime members get free same-day or two-day shipping on eligible items (some products are not included in Prime). Other shipping benefits include free release-date delivery on eligible pre-order items, free no-rush shipping (you’ll earn rewards with this option!), and Amazon Day delivery (choose your delivery day).

Along with the free and speedy shipping benefits, Prime members also get the following services:

Amazon Prime Video

Watch Amazon originals and other series/movies for free. Some titles and channels require a paid subscription at an added charge.

Amazon Music for Prime Members

You’ll have access to millions of songs and discounted Amazon Unlimited Music plans.

Prime Gaming

This comes with a free monthly Twitch channel subscription. You can also get plenty of free games too!

Prime Reading

Members can borrow books, magazines, and other media for use on Fire and Kindle devices.

Whole Foods Market benefits

Look for exclusive Prime savings in Whole Foods stores and two-hour delivery (select cities only). You can find Prime member-only deals listed in the store when you shop.

Amazon Fresh

Provided you live in a selected delivery area, this service gets you fresh groceries (such as produce, seafood, meat, and more) within a one- or two-hour delivery window.

Prime Try Before You Buy

Will it fit? Don’t worry with Prime. Choose select women’s, men’s, baby, and kids’ clothes free of charge. You’ll get seven days to decide if they fit and either return them or keep them. Amazon will only charge your payment method if you decide to keep the items.

Amazon Personal Shopper

This service offers, as the name implies, personal shopping advice. The styling subscription benefit is only available in select areas right now.

Amazon Family Subscribe and Save

Subscribe to eligible diapers, baby food, and other kid-related products and save up to 20 percent.

Amazon Photos

Amazon Drive and Amazon Vault give you secure storage of your family’s pics.

Keep in mind, these benefits aren’t set in stone. Amazon may change, update, or add to the list!

How much does Amazon Prime cost?

While most of the benefits you get with Prime are free, this Amazon membership is not. Members can choose to pay a monthly fee of $14.99 or pay $139 annually. If you only want access to the Prime Video streaming service, you will need to pay a $8.99 monthly fee.

Like Prime benefits, the monthly and annual costs are subject to change. If you choose to automatically renew your subscription annually, stay on the lookout for membership price changes. Failure to do so could end up in a surprise charge in the event of an annual increase.

The annual $139 payment option provides the most significant discount for most Amazon customers. If you choose to pay monthly, your yearly total tops $179. This means you’ll save $40 with the one-time annual option.

If you’ve returned to school, you could qualify for the Amazon Prime Student membership price. This plan has serious savings, with a $7.49 per month or $69 per year price tag. Prime Student also comes with select free food delivery for one year with a Grubhub+ membership, one month of Course Hero for free, and up to 10 percent off flights and hotels with StudentUniverse. Students who choose Prime are also eligible for discounts on eligible Prime Video channels.

Some government assistance, EBT, Medicaid, and SNAP recipients could qualify for the discounted $6.99 per month Prime membership.

Can I share my Amazon Prime membership with family members?

Membership sharing is an issue that many of the major streaming services are trying to eliminate. But Amazon Prime does offer this option in some cases. Prime members can share their subscription with one other adult in their household. If you have a teen, you can also share your membership with your child.

Amazon allows parents to share their Prime membership with up to four of their teen children ages 13 through 17 years. Each teen can have their own Amazon login, allowing them to shop independently and stream shows/movies on Prime Video. But as the household owner, you will have access to everything your child does on Amazon.

While you can add up to four children under 13 to your account, they aren’t true “Prime members.” Children cannot have Amazon accounts or make their own purchases.

Along with adding an adult who lives with you to your Amazon Household, you can also share some additional benefits. These include select audiobooks, eBooks, games, and apps. This, and other shared content, is also available on compatible Alexa devices for all Amazon Household members.

How do I cancel my Amazon Prime membership?

Even with benefits galore, a Prime Membership isn’t for everyone. This means you may not want to or need to renew the subscription at the end of your annual term. To cancel your membership you will need to sign in to your Amazon account online.

Navigate to Prime Membership in your Account. Go to Manage Membership. You will see options to update, cancel, and more. Click on this and select End Membership.

Amazon will give you the option to keep the Prime membership or let you think about it (by clicking on a Remind Me Later option). If you’re sure you want to end your Prime membership, click on “Continue to cancel.” This gives you another option to keep the membership, think about it, or just end the service. But if you choose to cancel, Amazon will give you an “end on” date to click on.

Do I need a Prime membership to shop on Amazon?

No, you won’t need to purchase a Prime membership just to buy your baby gear on Amazon. Anyone can use this service. But you will only get the free one- or two-day shipping and other benefits if you subscribe. You will also need to create an account to purchase and pay for products. If you’re not sure whether to create this type of account or go for Prime, consider a free trial to test out the services.

You can also use Prime Video without a Prime subscription. Instead of free titles, you will need to pay for individual episodes or movies. If you find yourself using Prime Video often you can choose to subscribe to this part of Prime. The $8.99 monthly fee is similar to what you would pay for other video streaming services – but you won’t get other Prime benefits (such as free shipping or photo storage).

Are there any hidden fees associated with Amazon Prime?

Like many other services, Amazon Prime does come with a few “hidden” or extra fees. These include:

Amazon Channels

Premium channels, such as STARZ or Showtime, come with an added monthly fee in Prime Video.

Ad-free upgrade

Prime Video members will now need to pay an additional $2.99 for an ad-free viewing experience.

Amazon Music Unlimited

Even though you get a discount, you will need to pay a monthly fee of up to $9.99.

While these are current additional fees you may need to pay, Amazon may add or remove extras charges at any time. This makes it important to pay attention to emails and in-app updates on pricing.

What is the Amazon Family feature, and how does it work with Prime?

Amazon Family (a.k.a the Kids’ Store) allows you to create a child profile to make shopping for your little one easier. It gives you access to everything you’ll need to buy for your baby, toddler, or older child by age.

Not only can you easily find the perfect products for your tot, Prime members who choose the Subscribe and Save option are eligible for discounts of up to 20 percent on certain items.

Subscribe and Save does more than just give you a generous discount on items you’ll use every day, such as diapers and baby food. It also makes your shopping life easier. Instead of having to remember to order the basics, you can set a delivery schedule.

Amazon will notify you when your Subscribe and Save products are ready to ship. If you’re not out of the necessities you thought you would need, simply change the date.
