He stressed that India’s current 1% participation can be significantly increased, given its population. Modi emphasized the need for infrastructure and facilities to attract conference tourists, stating that Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam and YashoBhoomi would make it a major conference tourism hub. He also noted that conference tourism, like adventure, medical, spiritual, and heritage tourism, thrives where the necessary environment is provided.
