Pol science L-2 Role of government.

Hey Everyone!!
And welcome back to my channel and in today’s video we are going to do Civics L-2 Role of government in health .
QUE/ANS:-
ANS.1} The government can take the following steps to provide healthcare to all:
Spreading healthcare awareness among common people through different means like
workshops, seminars and training camps.
Increasing the number of healthcare centres, hospitals and family welfare centres.
Organising free health check-up camps for general public.
Organising Pulse Polio and other similar special campaigns.
Keeping a check on the services provided by doctors, nurses and other staff of the government hospitals.

ANS.2}Water and sanitation are the basic necessities for the maintenance of our health.
Polluted water is a major cause of many communicable diseases like cholera, typhoid and jaundice. Similarly poor sanitation causes spread of many epidemics like plague, dengue, malaria, etc. Provision of clean drinking water, maintaining cleanliness and proper disposal of waste can help to improve the situation.
For example- Both dengue and malaria are caused by mosquitoes breeding in stagnant water of poorly maintained lakes and canals. Situation can be controlled by draining the canals and cleaning the lakes with the help of sewage treatment plants and solvents. Improvement in water and sanitation can control these happenings.
