Trial of ex-Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder on hold after juror tests positive for coronavirus
CINCINNATI, Ohio – A COVID-19 infection within the jury pool delayed the trial of Ohio’s former speaker of the House and an alleged conspirator at least until next week.
Wednesday was to be the third day of the racketeering trial against former GOP House Speaker Larry Householder and lobbyist Matt Borges. However, the court canceled the day when staff said a juror became “temporarily unavailable.” A judge announced the infection just after 5 p.m.
